Forsaken Body seems harsh. You feed and clothe your body daily, but it's usually overlooked until injury or illness. Failure to recognize the body's importance will eventually impact daily life. Everything you do is accomplished by, through, and with your body. And yet, the body is forsaken in many ways.


Christians rarely address the body

Disregard the need for physical activity

Regularly push through physical pain

Sole focus on spiritual matters

Ignore effects of stress

Habitually restrict calories

Neglect doctor visits and necessary medicine

Over-consumption of low nutrient foods

Condone cultural devaluation of the body

Intentional sleep deprivation

Too much exercise

My blog combats the forsaken body by showing that the body matters and helping you take care of it.
